“CoDriVE – Programme Designer” (CoDriVE-PD) is a tool meant for development planners, practitioners and researchers. It assesses vulnerability for a cluster of villages, for individual villages, household level and production systems. It examines ‘Drivers & Pressures’ that influence decisions to promote change and reduce vulnerability. It helps to prioritize and channelize resources and efforts to regions and vulnerable communities, highlighting those components most needed. It generates a 5 digit ‘Vulnerability Code’ based on the Livelihood Capitals. Once obtained, it assists in monitoring and evaluation (M&E) and as a decision support tool.

The web-based version facilitates the easy, rapid, and large-scale application. It has been developed to enable processing and analysis of key data for generating the vulnerability profile, while pointing to situation-specific adaptive actions that are required.

How does this web-based tool help you?
