Direct Implementation

In order to constantly test concepts with ground realities, as well as to improve the competency of its own staff, WOTR directly implements several large-scale watershed projects. These are implemented in remote and backward tribal areas and a cluster approach is adopted for more cumulative impacts.

These become training laboratories for in-house capacity up-gradation as well as for other NGOs and VSHGs.

Implementation of Watershed Projects (Maharashtra)
So far, WOTR has undertaken implementation of 39 watershed projects covering an area of 34,831 ha in Maharashtra

Implementation of Watershed Projects (Andhra Pradesh)
