The WOTR Group consists of the Watershed Organization Trust (WOTR), Sampada Trust (ST) and the Sanjeevani Institute for Empowerment & Development (SIED). All three organizations are referred to as “WOTR” in this note.

  • Especially referred to the World Resource Institute (WRI, Washington) Report titled, “Weathering the Storm: Options for Framing Adaptation and Development” (2007) where outstanding references to the Darewadi experience of WOTR have been made as a successful example of community based adaptation experience.
