Water is the future. Without Water there is no business, no reality, no life. Money cannot replace water. Our children are our inspiration and the very source of our enthusiasm. We hope we can return to them the priceless gift of life through WATER, for it is theirs rightfully. In WOTR we do our best to make a difference.  For the villages out there, WOTR knows how to get things done, but lacks the financial resources. It is your trust and contribution that can change it all. Your contribution ensures that this precious resource is available forever. When you support WOTR, you support the future.

You can contribute in many ways :

Your contribution ensures that this precious resource, WATER, is available forever. Ensure that your city will always have drinking water. Conserve and regenerate a watershed. Support water saving drip irrigation, or a village / family for secure and safe drinking water. When all our daughters are educated, our country, our planet will be a better place to live in. Invest in a child’s EDUCATION; ensure that the village homes have solar lighting to promote hours productively spent. Ensure that you have CLEAN AIR to breathe. An average full grown tree cleans up more than 4000 miles of your car’s carbon footprint! Plant a tree. Projects are submitted by villagers who need these to take them that ONE MILE FORWARD. Join hands with their efforts. When the village has built a school, it needs a classroom more; the day-care centre is built, but it needs a compound wall to protect the children.

INTERNSHIP PROGRAM

The WOTR Internship Program is especially designed to support candidates at post-graduate level from agricultural management, rural management and social work academic institutes who are committed and have a strong desire to have an exposure to the natural resource management and the rural community development sector. The WOTR Internship Program will support you for 1 to 3 months, depending upon the policy of your respective institute for the internship. A maximum of 12 internships are available every year. The candidates will be chosen on the basis of their academic achievements and commitment to rural community development and/or natural resource management.


VOLUNTEER PROGRAM

WOTR is currently building up a volunteer program which will enable our volunteers to act independently in one field of activity while at the same time being attached to one of our permanent employees. WOTR has made it our objective to create transparency about how everyone personally contributes to the overall mission and vision of our organisation. You can write to us specifying your interests and what would you like to volunteer for.




As per the notification of the Government of India all donations made to the Watershed Organisation Trust (WOTR) are entitle to 50% tax exemption under u/s 80 G of Income Tax act.
